Light jacket France "M1964 Satin 300"

Dated in 1968!

Original military shirt / jacket of the French Army, the first model with zip pockets, which replaced the M47 and is the mother of the F1 and F2.

Keep the original markings. This model was manufactured in 1968.

Due to its dense and strong fabric of Satin 300, the M64 is also nicknamed the same fabric.

Condition:

Almost no use, but with some blemishes:

  • You can see some bending marks from being stored for years.
  • Some small scratches very little visible.
  • Keep the original detachable hood! Usually hard to find a piece with it.

Approximate measurements (Taken on a flat surface):

The original size is 108L, which is a Large Long. We put the approximate measurements below:

  • From shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 50 cm.
  • From armpit seam to armpit seam: 50 cm.
  • From shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 62 cm.
  • From neck top to bottom: 76 cm.

Main features:

  • Satin fabric 300.
  • Main closure by flap with five hidden buttons and one visible on the neck.
  • 2 lower front pockets with double flap closure, the outer one loose and the inner one with two buttons.
  • 2 upper front pockets with zip closure with travel from bottom to top.
  • Two-position cuff adjustment with two buttons.
  • Additional inner cuff with elastic.
  • Reinforced sleeves.
  • Shoulder flaps with one button closure to place patches of rank.
  • Large flap inside with button fastening. It is used to give greater protection against the cold.
  • Added fabric on the neck held between two buttons. It is used as an additional closure of the neck in the raised position, by opening the button farthest away and tying it on the button at the other end of the neck.
  • Inner drawstring to adjust the waist.
  • Inside label with size.
  • Inside label with manufacturing data. Stamp on cloth just below.
  • Velcro on chest to place patch. Keep the white shield.
  • Hood attached by five buttons. It has an interior cord to adjust it.
  • Dated: 1968.
